Holiday inspiration

Every year my beautiful mummy and I go on an annual mother/daughter vacation, this year it was to the gorgeous Greek island of Crete.

As always we had the best time but to fill those days of lounging around drinking cocktails I had some amazing inspiration around me to draw.

Maddi's Movie Magic .2

I am a massive fan of romantic movies, I suppose like any 24-year-old women and as my lovely boyfriend is away visiting family in Ireland it's the perfect time for me to break them out and not have to drag him kicking and screaming to watch them with me (even though I think he secretly likes them - who doesn't)

Here's a few of my favourites which I don't think can be beat but please feel free to challenge me on them or tell me one of your favourites, I want to add more to my collection.

Moulin Rouge - I remember the first time I watched it, it was with my parents and as soon as I laid my eyes on the costumes, Ewan McGregor, and the musical madness I was sold. It maybe such a heart wrenching film that literally brings me to tears every time but I wouldn't change anything about it, it's perfect.

The Notebook - I don't know if I have to say much on this at all helloooo it's the bloody Notebook. Just as beautiful as the book by Nicolas Sparks, yet again it always brings me to tears and as Noah says 'I've loved another with all my heart and soul, and to me, this has always been enough.' if I can take my final breath on this planet thinking the same thing, well what more could you want.

Love Rosie - Now this film is rather new compared to the other two but omg I would recommend it to anyone. It's a lovely feel good film with a similar storyline to 'One Day' but it doesn't leave me crying so much that my flat mate thinks someone I actually know has just died. It is just charming. Watch it! xxx
